Question for those that sent MIR after thanksgiving?
Just curious to know if anyone that mailed out mail in rebates on meats right after thanksgiving have received theirs.
I was mentioning to my FIL about our money situation but said that I should be getting some mail in rebates back. out of no where he says not on meats . Not sure if it was a question or a statement. I only really do meat rebates. In the past some have been sent to his house and well i never saw them. So i stopped but over the holidays he has been watching my house and his statement just makes me wonder if i received them and he cashed them and stole my money. He took all the money out of our change jar well only $16 was in their , didnt ask just told me after the fact.
And yeah i didnt think to keep any info on any of the rebates i mailed out! And the extra copies that i had of some of the rebates i tossed in the trash yesterday! So all i can go by is an estimation of if any others that did mail in rebates on meats after thanksgiving if they have received them so i can get a general idea of when and if i will receive mine or if they were received and stolen from me. But his statement alone leads me to beleive the stolen thing. From hear on out i am gonna write down the information. Although he is never watching my house again but still. This would have been the time to have known all that information!

Re: Question for those that sent MIR after thanksgiving?
which rebates? you can check the status of most beer rebates online (except pabst) and see if they have been sent. i usually receive cms and coors/miller rebates within about a week of when they are marked sent online. the bud rebates usually arrive about a week later than the estimated arrival date that is shown online. i think the FAQ in this forum has a list of websites to check on rebates but if that does not help post which beer company you sent rebates to I can post the websites you need.

Re: Question for those that sent MIR after thanksgiving?
Yeah see I didnt keep track of wich ones i did. All i know is they were on meats. And a turkey one. Kicking myself for not writing these down because then I would know if they should have been here already and if they were stolen! they usually take like 6-8 weeks right? Cuz im pretty sure its been about 6-7 weeks by my guess. And well now I actually kinda sorta needed that money but the comment my FIL made has me beleiving i got them and he cashed them. why else would he blurt out but not on meat out of nowhere? I learned one thing that i need a notebook for all my rebate info! Think I will do this and still mail some to the FIL house and see if he ever brings em over. Because well our last names are the same so he can say that my name is his wife or just go to a pawn shop that he knows people at and have them cash it for him. Almost sure a bank wouldnt let him cash it. Its just driving me nuts not knowing and making assumptions .

Re: Question for those that sent MIR after thanksgiving?
ok so ive been searching like a mad woman. 2 I am sure i did but unsure the companies are
$10 MIR when you purchase $10 or more in meat/poultry/seafood ex 12/31/10
and the $10 MIR when you purchase $25 in thanksgivng items between 11/3/2010-11/17/2010. postmarked by 11/30/2010
And there was a frozen pizza MIR i did as well.
I found a pending $10 MIR and then that other one that im unsure of what it is that said it was shipped on 12/9 and i went to fla 12/11.

Re: Question for those that sent MIR after thanksgiving?
I found one on th cms check that was recent. I was able to find 2 and one hasnt been sent. its still in the pending stage but by the looks of the other $10 one it was sent out dec 9....so im wondering about that one. Because right after thanksgiving i did some to get them postmarked by the correct date. And im pretty sure my hubby was still here when i mailed out any rebates i did. he left the saturday following thanksgiving.
Im trying to figure out i may have done a diego one. But ah see im not 100%. the 2 im sure of were the 2 i picked up at food lion but a lady my hubby works with gives him MIR's for me as well. Thanks for that info. It does help! Every little bit helps. Because If i find out they were cashed and not by me someone will not be entering my home ever again!

Re: Question for those that sent MIR after thanksgiving?
I believe the ML OPERATION HOMEFRONT is the miller $10 wyb $25 of thanksgiving meal items (included veggies and stuffing etc). If it shipped 12/9 then it should have been delivered weeks ago. the miller/coors usually arrive pretty fast after they say shipped. if you call they should be able to tell you if the check was cashed but clear your schedule because the make you wait on hold a long time.
The 10/10 of meat I am thinking was the corona but i am not sure i remember the terms of that one since it was not valid in my state.
Have you checked bud rebates: abrebates.com ? They also had a turkey/ham rebate.
To my knowledge their is no way to check on the P&G rebates online.
I scan all my rebates before I mail as well as keeping a paper log of the offer number, company and mail date. In my experience this is the only way to get your money back. I had more than a dozen rejections/ lost submissions last year and I was able to get my checks on all of them because I kept good records.
