Letter from CBAI? (Redhook, Kona, Widmer)

Ok, so I am really curious if anyone received a letter from CBAI or if it was just me? I haven't seen or heard of anyone else receiving one.
I have been banned from submitting future MIRs and they are not honoring any that were submitted in Dec. They said the handwriting was too similar on my submission and another which prompted them to do a public records search on the internet. The letter requested that I call but when I did the guy didn't really care what I had to say. (me at one address and ex-husband at another). With the letter and the phone call mentioning federal mail fraud prosecution, I decided it wasn't worth it and didn't push it. Unfortunetly I had 20 MIRs submitted in Dec. that will not be honored. I had both the 5 sheeters, multiple single SS and water from the last 6 months I hadn't fulfilled, pizza. I bought all the stuff in Dec. and sent them in before time ran out. So anyway, I have been banned for their accusation of using 2 addresses. I just wanted to know if anyone else received a letter or is it just my bad luck?

Were the rebates to your ex husbands address in your name or his?

Then that really doesn't seem right to me for them to deny you like that....the limits on the rebates are per name and per address...you did one each in your name, one each in his. I can't remember whether those forms had to be signed, and if so, did you sign his name?

When I called about some rebates and $2 instant coupons last year, I spoke directly to the gentleman that processes ALL of the rebates and ALL the coupons .. he is one person doing all the work.. from what I could gather, its a small company and he does a bit of everything as well.

I am wondering if by some "dumb luck" your rebates arrived together and he was able to compare the handwriting?

That is crazy! I get rebates for my mother and then she buys and uses at her house, but when I go home, I fill them all out for her, and I keep track of them for her. It is something that I can do to help her and my dad out! She uses all of the stuff, I just do the work for her. I hope you get this changed. So sorry!

I do the same thing .. to me this seems WAY over the top

Same here I usally sit down and do rebates for me and my mom all at the same time. Usally So When they come in it is easier to cross them off the list. I get mine she gets hers and it is easier, I hope I don't have to worry about this kind of drama. My mom and I really count on the rebate $$.

me2, i helped my mom and sis to fill all rebates and just mail out at the last minutes. Hope rebate $$$ coming without any problem.
