Default Coors Rebate Question - probably a general question though

I have only heard of these being found in Food Lion (I got mine in a trade).

Says $10 off a $20 in store purchase and then lists some exluded items.

Does anyone know if the "in-store purchase has to be at the store where the rebate was found or can it be any grocery store?

I called the number and they said to be on the safe side, do it at the store it was found in...but can they really track that. I rarely shop at FL and even more rarely spend $20 there. I am usually just running in for FLIPS.

Unless the form states on it, "purchase must be made at store xyz" you can use receipts from any store.

I hardly ever have enough $ on my FL crts to do a high dollar rebate form.

Those forms can be in any type of store, they have no way to know. My Coors guy will leave them in the gas stations here sometimes!!

Funny thing, I got this one just yesterday and I called their CS on the form just to ask the very same question!

In return, she asked me, "What store did you get it from?" I replied, "Food Lion." Then she said I had to do it at that store.

Sounds like it doesn't matter to me! How do they know? She had to ask me where I got it from. I'm going to try it as these ladies say. I can't muster the FL receipts. I just coupon/rebate surf at FL and buy only the most occasional deals.

Also, I asked about having a $60 receipt of 3 $20 receipts. They will take either, but the $20 receipts have to be turned in separately, the $60 receipt does not.

One question for you veterans though... the $60 required total is BC right? not AC.

one more thing, when I called, they let me know of a neat service where you can check your rebate! Go to:

    checkmyrebate.com

The interesting thing is that when you click on facts it says you can print out forms if you've lost them. But then when you read the forms, it says you need the original official form.

That is weird because in my phone converstation, she said that each one had to be in its own envelope to be valid even though it was 3 per household????

Also, I would feel better if anyone had found these somewhere other than Food Lion....has anyone found them elsewhere???

    Ok see if this helps...

I have done Coors rebates for many many years and have never been asked what store I got the form from.. EVER.

I have not found that particular form here yet, but I can find forms at Food Lion, Bloom, Farm Fresh, Harris Teeter some Krogers and various high beer selling gas stations. It just depends on the Coors guy's route at the time he is given the form.

It is before coupon price. (I just sent in a crt for $15/15 that my oop was less than $10, they don't care about that).

Just make sure you are in the correct date range, circled your product and cost and your crt has the store name, etc printed on it.

Also make a copy of what you submit. If they happen to reject you, you will get a postcard with a phone number to call, CALL. I was rejected on a produce rebate one time because I did not cut out and send the upc. Well the form said if available, so I called and asked what part of the cantaloupe that I bought did they want mailed in because they don't grow with upc codes printed on them and my store does not tag them in any way. I got my check the next week.

I am going to send my Ingles ones in tomorrow. Do you have any thoughts about sending them all in one evnvelope? The limit is three per household. I don't see any reason why I can't send them all in one envelope...any experience?

It is always better to be on the safe side to send it in separate envelopes. (Especially with those that have many multiple submissions. :) )
