QUESTION Meat rebate in MN- Wine purchase required?

While we were in WI, I found MIR's for $7 off meat with purchase of 2 bottles of wine, valid in IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MN, OH and WI. It states, "No wine purchase required in the state of IN."

It has always been my understanding that in MN they cannot require you to purchase alcolhol to get a rebate on something else. Does anyone know for sure? I may just be misinformed :shrug7:

I am debating just submitting one of my grocery receipts with meat on it and seeing what happens. If they reject it then I am really only out a stamp, as I would have bought meat anyway. Or maybe I will just try to find someone in IN to trade it to. I am not sure what to do. Any opinions on the best course?

    TIA

While I have no idea since I don't normally pay attention to if IL is on my NBPN in ME forms, it would seen that you may be incorrect since I can't imagine the lawyers at the wine company making such a huge mistake.

I'd try googling on the state website to find where its stated they can't require alcohol purchases. Perhaps its only for beer and not wine/spirits?
