REd Stripe/Smirnoff pizza rebate rejection toay - anyone else?????

I got a rejection card today indicating that I didn't show the alcohol purchases so can't get reimbursed for the pizza. I live in VA and bought the pizza over the amount needed in VA. Here is the description for the GMM forum
Save $5 WYB (1) take & bake pizza and (1) 6-pack, (1) 12 pack or (2) 24 oz. bottles of Red Stripe or Smirnoff Ice. Minimum pizza purchase of $5.01. Offer valid in Millitary and all U.S. States Except: IN, OR, TX, and UT.
No Alcohol Purchase Required in AL, HI (Maui only), KY, ME, MN, MO, NJ, NC,NY, PA, VA, and WV.

Mail original dated cash register reciept & completed certificate to:

Has anyone else gotten a rejection even when it was a NBPR state?

I would call the phone number for the rebate and inquire as to why you were rejected, as you met all requirements. Maybe it was an accidental rejection??

Nope - I called and I'm an idiot! I traded for these and apparently there is 2 diff. offers with only one state difference on not being included in the NBPR - VA! DG 1649 is what I sent(no VA) and DG 1650 includes it - bummer!!!!! I didn't double check cause everything else was the same....tricky!!!
Oh well - the risks you run...

No Chris, you're not an idiot! I'm in VA too. Both my mother & I had ours rejected too, with the reason on the rejection card stating that I had not purchased the Red Stripe or Smirnoff Ice. I scan all my rebates, so I pulled up the scan of this rebate to be sure VA was included in the NBPR & indeed, it was. I'm going to give them a call tomorrow. I wonder how many other people this has happened to.

By the way - my rebate rejection card & my mothers both have the DG1649 ID on them, so you probably didn't make an error.

I would call again. The next person you get may find a mistake was made. I'd mention that there were 2 different rebates and that you live in VA and didn't have to purchase the beer.
