? about the Quaker rebate

I'm hoping somebody can help.

I received the "rebate" back from Quaker today. It is a coupon for $5 off your next grocery purchase. It bears the Quaker logo and indicates "Thank you for purchasing Quaker products". The fine print states "Limit one coupon per specified item(s) purchased. This coupon good only on product sizes and varieties indicated."

There are no such specifications on the coupon though. Is it only to be used on Quaker products or can I use it on anything at the grocery store?

If anybody knows and can tell me, I'd really appreciate it!

Anything in the store "groceries"...at least that's how it has worked in the past, I got mine, haven't used it yet.

I haven't gotten this one yet, but the last one was no problem to use. It just scanned right through!

I got mine...And I tried it at TWO different stores. The way it reads "$5 off your next GROCERY Purchase" led me to beleive off of any groceries...well after my second attempt- which was at Super Target, and my second time I was told it was ONLY good on Quaker items I got annoyed and figured I would go ahead and buy the 5 Quaker items that are giving the $5 GC at Target.
When I was asking the cashiers WHAT QUAKER ITEMS LISTED? they all agreed that any would work. I have another Q I am getting too...I wonder if I just buy one Quaker item for under $5 if my $5 coupon will still take off $5....that is my fear....because it scans like a coupon. And some stores won't give overages.
