For the Widmer MIRs for condiments...would you consider salad dressing, guacamole or salsa a condiment? We put all of these on sandwiches in our family but maybe we are strange ;)

so, I can send in chicken and turkey under the meat part. I was asking DH and he said it is poultry. Oh man, I missed so many, because we mostly eat chicken.
Also I think a condiment is anything you can not eat alone, but you add to something else to improve the taste.

I have had no trouble with chicken and turkey or rebates that say meat.

How does the rebates work with coupons? If I can get overage or use a oyno to pay for the meat can i still do the rebate on top? After all the price of the meat, produce will show next to the item. Is this allowed?

Sorry if this has already been asked...but I SWEAR I have looked and looked. I am grasping at straws here, lol...has anyone ever tried submitting beef jerky as 'meat' and had it work or had it denied? Seems to me it would be meat, even though dried, but that is probably wishful thinking. :) I have been surprised many times by what these beer companies accept, but this is one I have never tried. Thanks.

I guess it would really depend on the wording on the receipt. does it state beef jerky or beef something? I would look at what it says and then go from there

^^ receipt says Oberto BF JKY.....I will probably go for it unless someone on here tells me they have been denied. Like I said, the MIR just says 'meat', doesn't specify what kind, and doesn't say it can't be dried out. However, if Corona sends me a denial that says: "look here, lady...you are pushing us toooo far", I won't be surprised.

Yes, we've used beef jerky several times over the years for "meat" rebates and for "meat snacks" rebates. "Meat" can be fresh, frozen, canned, dried, deli, hot, etc., unless the rebate makes it clear otherwise. The fact that beef jerky contains additives is no different from the fact that fresh meats may have been packed with seasonings added. Beef jerky is meat.

Wikipedia says that jerky is meat that has been cut into strips, trimmed of fat, marinated, and dried or smoked with low heat.

corbin, thanks so much for the info! I was going to risk it anyway, because I felt that it was meat, but I feel much better about it knowing someone else has already gotten the okay on it.

There's an alcohol rebate for Beam Global Spirits - everything from whiskey to rum, to??? . The language states "any Jim Beam Bourbon". We just bought Jim Beam Rye Whiskey. Can't take it back to the ABC store. Jim Beam's website shows a tab for "other bourbon" and the rye is one of 3 other "bourbons".

What do you think?
