"Meat" can be fresh, frozen, canned, dried, deli, hot, etc., unless the rebate makes it clear otherwise. The fact that beef jerky contains additives is no different from the fact that fresh meats may have been packed with seasonings added. Beef jerky is meat.
Wikipedia says that jerky is meat that has been cut into strips, trimmed of fat, marinated, and dried or smoked with low heat. |
