I too received the same postcard (I bet a metric ton of others received it too).

Nowhere on that rebate offer does it state a 'start date' for the purchase of the product and they better not use 'an implied' excuse.

I do not let these things lie.

What I do is get the NAZ of the sponsor (you see, I am done dealing with the fulfillment agency):

And write (an email will not do) to them stating that their good reputation is on the line.

That the benefit of the doubt should be given to the customer.

My product was purchased in October 2007 at CVS (during one of their wundebar ECB full price offer and I was also able to use a B1G1F manufacturer's coupon).

I just checked:

and it states the following:

We have received your submission and it is being processed. The estimated mail date for your check is 21-Oct-2008.

I received the 'no refund for you' postcard.

Then, on Thursday, 10/15/2008, I received a rebate check from BIC for $5.89.

Return address was:

REBATE CENTER
P O BOX 52902
PHOENIX AZ 85072-2902

Checking www.rebatestatus.com - Search :

First it said invalid.

Now it says:

Your rebate check was mailed on 26-Sep-2008. Please allow at least 15 days for delivery.

If this rebate check is for this offer in question, I bet they are issuing rebate checks for all the people that were turned down because of an 'invalid purchase date,' since no purchase date range was ever stated on the rebate form.

My sister's submission still says invalid but she submitted it after mine.
