    Now, let's hope there are several versions of this one like there was last year!

    I'm trying to learn more about beer rebates. Finally one for PA.

    So, does this mean that I purchase groceries that exceed $20.01 and I will send away for a $20.00 rebat?. I do not require a beer purchase in PA for this offer, correct?

    Also, one more question.

    I notice this verbage on some of the rebates: What does this mean? Discount part?

    *Due to regulatory restrictions, OH and PA residents: Discount will be applied to the beer only. If actual purchase price of the beer is less than $25, rebate will be for the actual purchase amount, not including any sales tax.

    I have this posted in the "Trades" forum at the bottom of my post;

    FYI-I have been doing these "type" rebates for the past 16 years. Sometimes the rebate terms are easy to understand and specific and sometimes they are vague and confusing. When I list a form, I try to describe it as accurate as the wording on the form as possible. I'm often asked; Is this form good in my state? What does the terms here mean? Etc. I am sorry, but on some forms I can't interrupt the rebate companies meaning any better than you can. For example; The Korbel form (and others like it). There is "NO start date" on the form. What exactly does that mean? Another is the Redhook, Widmer and Kona forms. These forms list the BPR states but DO NOT list the NBPR states. Does this mean that if you live in a NBPR state you would be able to do these rebates? Again, I really can't answear these questions. I can only describe the rebate requirements as printed on the forms. Maybe call the rebate company for the correct answear? What if when calling the CSR really can't answear your question either or just gives you mis-information? I have found this to be the case MANY times in the past!!! ***Several rebates have as a requirement the UPC labels. Usually, the UPC's are only required from the beer package(s) when a beer purchase is required and NOT required for the NBPR states.***The point is, that if you do these type rebates long enough you WILL be denied rebates. Some for legimate reasons and some not. I just chalk it up to experience and feel "nothing ventured, nothing gained"!
