I apologize if this has already been posted, didn't see it anywhere else. Found this in 7/12/09 redplum insert.

Is anyone else having trouble getting the form to print correctly? It seems to be much larger than an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper.

I received a letter today stating I did not include the correct UPC codes.

"Your request did not include the correct UPC(s) required for the promotion. Only the UPC symbols from the products listed in the offer requirements are acceptable."

The offer simply required buying $50 worth of Olay facial moisturizers or cleansers, and I did that.

Anyone else had this problem?

yep i received a letter today as well. i double checked the upcs, am gonna call them tomorrow!!

To start with I called the number on the rebate, got nowhere with that. They are just a processor and go by a list of upcs, and my numbers were not on the list.

I looked up a 1-800 number on Olay.com and called it, told them what I bought, they agreed it was covered by the rebate and had a check to me within a week.

I received the same letter. The rebate office said that the definity eye illuminator eye illuminating treatment says treatment - not a moisturizer. The repair serum is also not a moisturizer and not on their list. The eye illuminator is pictured on the rebate form. I called the olay 800 number and they agreed, but the rebate center is the group that handles it. The olay rep. said she would send me a check- for $5, but that is all she could do. Now i have to hunt down a receipt for a different product purchased during that time to put in place of the serum, then argue again for the eye cream. This is not how to reward customer loyalty. I have used the olay products for years. The rebate offer has left me with a negative feeling for the company.
