QUESTION Re: X 12/31/2009 Alouette Cheese up to $6.49 (printable)

did anyone find nay of participating cheese in Shoprite or Stop and Shop?

I checked the SR online database and found that the only 5 oz wedges is "spreadable" one and it is not included in the list, right? I wasnt sure if it is my English or is it the wording:shrug7: cuz non of the Alouette chese 2 Shoprite matches the ones in the list.

and also, is this below one of the participating products? cuz the wording is different and i dont want to buy the wrong chese.

I was able to find the Creme De Brie at my local A&P. I tried to get the UPC off but it doesn't seem to want to go, even with a hair dryer. So we'll have to eat it first.

I do agree the rebate form wording is confusing in that it makes it seem like you can buy more than one.

    Default Big news

I decided to email the Alouette customer service folks to ask about the ambiguous plural wording on the web page for the rebate. I got the following response (the typo is theirs) which I have to admit has me very surprised:

Thank you for contacting Alouette Cheese. The terms and conditions are worded in such a way in order to cover all possible bases.

Since it says "Limit; one rebate per person, per address, and per envelope is allowed," you can try each variety, but each reabate must have a new form and be submitted in separate envelopes.

So I guess I will be running out once the snow ends to find more cheese. BTW the email came from customer.service@bcusa.net.

I couldn't get it off either. It seems like it's printed on the plastic...it's not a label that can be removed. So...I scraped it all out, and put it in a small container, and cut it off! I was afraid that if I left it in the fridge until it was empty, I'd either forget about it...or someone else would empty it and trash it before I noticed.
