Wow - I'm really surprised... I have done one rebate before (not this offer) and I thought they accept chicken. Chicken is meat after all. But I guess if they don't then... I don't know. I haven't bought chicken but I did get turkey.

Hey, did you know there is another thread, discussing this same rebate offer? At least, I think they're the same. Here's the link. What's the difference between these two threads? I'm kind of new to the rebate forums. LOL.

Anyway, trishgil posted in that other thread that when she called the rebate processor, she was told that chicken and turkey were not considered as "meat" for the purposes of this rebate.

So, question for couponcinde, Curlybwc, and anybody else who already submitted for (maybe even already received) this rebate:

Did you include any receipts for chicken and/or turkey, and have any issues submitting those receipts? Or were your meat receipts only for beef, lamb, and/or pork? What about slightly more prepared meats, like hot dogs, sausage, hamburger?

I'm new to doing these NBPN meat rebates, so I'd like to get some idea from people who are more experienced with these types of rebates and this particular one, about what I can and can not submit without problems. Thanks to anybody who can help out with some answers! :-)

I just spoke to CS about this form and they said that fish and poultry are excluded, but she did go on to say that beef and ham are perfectly acceptable. So chops, steaks, ribs, and round beef are what I am going to buy.

For the $100 patio furniture, we have a receipt for a bench that was priced at $97, with tax it comes to over $100. Would this work?

I don't believe tax can be included in the price of the item. Usually there is something in fine print that excludes tax. Too bad you were so close. I would think you could come up with $50 in soda, salty snacks and meat. It can be on mutliple receipts.

What if you used coupons on chips? I am doing a similar rebate that expires 7/15/09 and I bought a lot of pringles at WAGS on sale for .99 and used the $1/2 q. Should I just circle the .99 price and ignore the q's at the bottom of the receipt? I bought other things as well, but used a RR so my total was only about $16.xx. Any thoughts?
