I called the rebate number on it to inquire on what exactly a "Super Party Essential" is. Gentleman took a while to look through something (computer maybe?) and said that they weren't any stipulations so anything that one would need for a party would suffice.

I said... Rice? What about rice? What about Goldfish Crackers? How about Beer even though its NBPR?! He said yes, yes, and beer certainly is a party essential!

Someone on another board called and was told...forks, plates, spoons, pop, beer, chips, dips.

Yikes... I turned it in already.
I had like crackers, chips and 2 liters and hot dogs on one, condiments and meat on the other.
Do you think they'll turn it back even though I talked to someone?
What should I do in this situation?

I would think beer would not count though, it does not usually for these rebates.

Just wanted to point out to pay attention to the wording on this rebate. The front says, "total store purchase of $30 or more of Super Party essentials" and the back says, "Dated cash register receipt with the total store purchase price circled."

I had $30 in soda and cracker purchases, but the receipt total was $10 after coupons. Luckily I re-read the rules before mailing, but I find it confusing that they are only interested in us circling to total purchase price.

I think almost anything would count - they usually aren;t too picky - they would have worded it chips, dips, etc - a party could be a dinner party couldn't it? Ihave never had a problem ... as long as it's not clothes or tools you should be fine..

I called in again and spoke to a different rep. She said the same thing... that there weren't any restrictions. I read the receipt off to her, "I bought burger patties, pork steaks, hot dogs, drinks, buns, goldfish crackers." She said, "Those are all fine.".

I wish I knew how they worked. Like if the CSRs are the same people who process them.

My sister called and was told it could be on more than one receipt. Someone may want to call and see if they are told the same thing.
