A lot of these items are on sale this week at walgreens and you can earn a register reward of $10 if you spend $20. You might be able to make a little money.

I don't know if you can only get one from each product or if you buy all the same time like flintstone vitamins if you can still get the rebate. Anyone know for sure

I'm a little confused by the asterisk remark in the print ad for this rebate. It states, "rebate based on price paid after coupon". Does that mean that if I use a store coupon, manufacturer coupon, or ECB that they can deduct that from the rebate amount? It's stuff like this that makes me hesitate to participate in rebate deals.

I agree. I'm not sure what that means. How do they know if I used the coupon or not? Many receipts don't show to which item each coupon is attached. And whether they would count a CVS ECB is an interesting question as well.

I think because they included the coupons with the rebate form they will subtract the coupons they provided from your rebate. I would not think that other coupons would be subtracted from it. Example at WAGS-

20.00 4 Flintstones
-4.00 4 $1 coupons in the insert with the rebate

=16.00

I would get back $8.00 even though I also got a $10 RR. If I had used a RR to pay I don't think that would effect the rebate, but I could be wrong. I just did it as above and used my WAGS gift card to pay I should get $8.00 back.

In the above scenario with only rebate inclusive items, I suppose that makes sense. However if other items are purchased on the same receipt using coupons, they may assume the coupons were for the rebate items. That is where it gets tricky. The rebate form is not clear on this issue.

But if they see that you bought 4 items, and they know the value of the coupons that match with those 4 items I would think that is how they would calculate it. If you bought other items and had more coupons on the receipt, they should know that you can only use one coupon per item so the other coupons have to match up to the other items you bought.

I actually had 1 Reynolds wrap as well as the 4 Flintstones so I have 5 $1.00 coupons listed and one .60 WAGS coupon that says it is for the Reynolds. To me they would have to know that only 4 of the $1 coupons go against the amount spent on Flintstones. Maybe I am making assumption that they would see it the way I do :shrug7:

I guess another issue would be if you bought rebate items and did not have enough coupons (like 4 of the same item but you only had 2 insert qs) so they assume that your other coupons apply. I would make sure you do a separate receipt if that is the case.
