I got mine a few days ago, activated it this evening(automated system, didn't talk to anyone) and headed out to Krogers to buy 3 6pks of Michelob for a MIR for that purchase. Of course the card was declined. Cashier tried it a munder of times and asked for a mgr override. Mgr came over, looked at the card, tried to enter it manually??(I guess entered the numbers instead of me swipping it on the credit/debit pad) and it wouldn't go through. Maybe it was too soon, so I had to pay oop and you know I was hating that. Hopefully it will work the next time I go to use it. I was wondering if I would encounter problems with this. We'll see.

Activated mine but didn`t use it yet. Hope it will be alright.Anheuser-Busch has been great this year with offers. Got a 50.00 check for spending 200.00 on electronics, got 25.00 for spending 25.00 on turkey.

I've gotten severall of these, over the past couple of years. I usually take them to one of my stores (CVS, Kroger, Meijer...), and buy a store gift card with them. Then, I just use it on whatever I want.

You should be able to, just by swiping it at the credit/debit machine. Might need to run it as credit since there's no pin# for it.

I'm having more than my fair share of problems with this card. I tried it the other night after activating it and it wouldn't go through. Today, tried it at my drs office to pay for the co-pay and it was denied. Now when I call it says there is a 0 balance and when I check the transaction history, the only thing that comes up is the 1/28/09 deposit of 20.00.

I just called and spoke to a guy who said I need to call the corporate office of Card Express and he was at the corp office in a call center but could not transfer me nor could he give me the number. I asked to speak with his supervisor and was told the supervisor would give me the same info. He said the card shows a 0 balance and he couldn't tell me where the 20.00 went. I'm really ticked off right now. My son just got 4 scripts today and this money would come in handy for that.
