Default Re: x1/31/09 $10 MIR on Hormel Cure 81 Ham & $10 MIR Jennie O Turkey No state restrictions

I'm in Texas. I got the winetag at Kroger and bought the turkey at Randall's. I got a postcard yesterday telling me my state was not eligible for the rebate! I read the rebate form to make sure that I had not overlooked this. There wasn't anything saying which states were eligible. Called this morning and was told that the postcard was a mistake and that the rebate would be sent within 4 - 6 weeks. Looks like they are trying their best to not comply with this promotion.

I have these forms, and there is nothing even indicating they are connected. But what a company choses to do - it just sounds like they are being difficult!

called them today, 12/9 @ 1:15 - talked to Sara. She stated it is one promotion, but both rebates can be redeemed as long as they are sent in separate envelopes, and of course that the product for each rebate is purchased.

That's good to know! I was getting a little worried, since I already bought both things for these and didn't want to return one!

Default Issue with Woodbridge Hormel & Jennie O rebate

I recieved a post card from Pacific Wine Partners on a Turkey or Ham Rebate. I was denied because I submitted one for the Hormel Cure 81 Ham and one for the Jennie O Store Oven Ready Turkey. I called the rebate center and was told it was Turkey or Ham not both and that the ofer number was the same. I told her that on the front of the rebate it says Save up to $20 not $10 and that there was 2 seperate forms so I should be able to do both. She told me it was one or the other. I askled to speak to a supervisor. She said everyone there would tell me the same thing. Sorry she couldn't help me. I've emailed Woodbridge but I don't know if I'll get any where. Any suggestions?

I got a reject post card. I was told it was one or the other . I posted my coversation with the rebate center under Beer/Wine rebate Issue with Hormel & Jennie O rebates. I have emailed Woodbridge/ Mondavi. The form is very miss leading as it says Save up to $20. How can you save $20 if you don't do both ?

I just called an again to get a different person. I was told they would process this and I should recieve a check in 6 weeks. We'll see.

Default Re: Issue with Woodbridge Hormel & Jennie O rebate

I have the same problem. The lady was rude and wouldn't even listen to me when I told her one rebate was for a ham and one for a turkey and how should we know that they were the same offer number.

I have had every wine rebate denied and have had to call. The reason stated is always that the offer isn't good in my state. I was going to call back this morning and hope I got someone else but maybe it won't matter.

We should all complain to Woodbridge that the offer was unclear. IT should have stated on the form that if we did the Hormel ham rebate we couldn't do the Jennie-0.

Default Re: Issue with Woodbridge Hormel & Jennie O rebate

Mine Jennie-O was denied saying that it wasn't valid in my state, even though there was no state restriction on it. I got a second rejection postcard about an unrelated rebate (Icon $3 off beef, seafood, etc) the same day with the same reason. I think the rebate company is just trying to fulfill as few rebates as possible - I bet most people probably don't follow up. The front of the Jennie-O/Hormel WT I got said "Save up to $20" or something like that, so it clearly was intended for both to be fulfilled (or they should shoot whoever creates their marketing materials!). I haven't turned in my Hormel yet, but I'm not going easily if they reject it too.

I called a second time and got a different person. He told me he would process it as a courtesy and it would take 6 weeks. I wonder if it would do any good to call Hormel and Jennie O. I'm guessing they partnered with Woodbridge.

Please keep us posted on how this works out for everyone. I have only done the ham and since I have until 1/31/09 I am holding off on buying the turkey. Maybe they will get their heads on straight so I won't have to fight for the money. I might not do it if I have to argue with them.
