I found two rebates on Sleeping Beauty on DVD which came out this week. Even though one says you can send in a duplicate reciept, I'm assuming you can't actually apply for BOTH rebates. Can you?

1. $5 Rebate from Minute Maid
On Sleeping Beauty, Tinkerbell, Wall-E or Narnia

Buy two Minute Maid juice drinks 64 oz carton or 10 or 15 juice packs.

Found rebate in a pull-o0ut section of November Redbook

2. $3 from Francesco Rinaldi Pasta Sauce

Buy two sauces and use downloadable rebate form.

and to answer your question, yes you can double dip if they are two seperate rebate offers and if one says you can use a copy of a receipt, then yes send them the copy and the other the original, now if both say you need the original receipt then it wouldnt work out, but if they dont state "original" then it should work out just fine.

These are two completely different offers, so yep, if you can send a copy of your receipt then you can for sure double dip.

The Minute Maid rebate can be found on specially marked boxes. However the official rebate form is not required. Here is what it says:
Mail in:
-Proof of purchase tab from Sleeping Beauty, Tinker Bell, Wall-E or Chronicles of Narnia:Prince Caspian DVD or Blu-Ray.
-Register receipt from DVD or Blu-ray with printed store name and dated 10/7/08 - 2/16/09 with purchase price circled.
-UPC codes from 2 Minute Maid juices/drinks in 64 ounce cartons or 10 pack or 15 pack juice drink boxes, any variety.
-Cash register receipts from purchase of Minute Maid dated from 10/7/08 - 2/16/09 with purchase price circled.
-Completed Official rebate form OR a 3X5 card with your name, complete address (no PO Boxes) and telephone number.

I've never sent in more than one MIR on an item, so bear with me. Don't both of these rebates need the proof of purchase seal off the DVD? How do you get 2 proof of purchase tabs off one DVD? Also, since this needs to be cut off the DVD, does this mean I couldn't give it as a gift to another family? Thanks for your help!

They want the proof of purchase tabs, not the UPC. Each DVD has 4 POP tabs on it.
In order to get the tabs, you would have to take the DVD out of the packaging. So it's up to you if your family won't mind it being opened.

I would say the POP requirement would mean you would be able to do only one rebate. As for giving as a gift - depends if the person who gets the gift would mind that you cut out the POP.
