    Default Cellfire & Shortcuts

    Hi everyone

I've been MIA from the couponing world for a couple years (I remember making an announcement on here that I'd be busy with my newborn - and that newborn is now 2.5 years old! hahah). I'm really getting into collecting boxtops for my kids schools so hopefully I'll get back into it now with Ralphs promos for boxtops

I just had a quick question, when I used to coupon you were able to combine electronic coupons and paper coupons. Is that still the case? I've been searching online and can't find anything! Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I found some AWESOME $1 coupons here

    TIA!

I think it will prompt the cashier that if you got electronic coupons so you can't combine.

Welcome back, Vizona. As far as I know, Ralphs will not let you combine paper and electronic coupons on the same item anymore.

Not too long ago, I bought five boxes of Keebler cookies as part of one of Ralphs' mega deals. I had an electronic coupon for $x off of 2 and a paper coupon for $x off of 3. Even then the cash register beeped! I explained that to the cashier, who immediately understood and put through my paper coupon, so there wasn't a problem, but that gives you an idea of how sensitive the registers are set now.

The other problems with electronic coupons at Ralphs are that they don't double and they are given priority over your paper coupons. So if you buy one of something and you have an e-coupon for $0.25 off it plus a paper coupon for $0.50 off the same thing, you're going to get credit for the $0.25 off electronic coupon and the cashier's going to hand you back your $0.50 off paper coupon--which would have doubled to $1.00 and resulted in a much better deal. That's why I am very selective about loading e-coupons onto my Ralphs card anymore.

    Hope this helps!

I've encountered the same prob. What I do is buy the item(s) separately and do not use my Ralphs' card to get the better deal. Remember the ecoupon is linked to your card. If you don't enter a card/phone number it won't register and you can use the paper coupon.

The first time I did it the cashier tried to tell me it wouldn't work and refused to try until I told her "just humor me."

Thanks so much for the info ladies!

Before I even posted this I had already loaded the eQ's onto my card, so after I had read your responses I tried removing them by deleting my card off the cellfire and shortcuts system. I got super lucky, because removing my card their sites didn't work - BUT Ralphs still let me use my paper coupons without questioning anything.

I'll definitely be more careful about which, if any, eQ's I load onto my club cards!

    Thanks again :)
