Combining on-card coupons w/ paper?

Anyone had much luck combining the coupons you load onto your card with paper coupons and having the register discount for both of them? It didn't work for me last time I tried but since they changed the coupon policy, I'm going to give it a try again today at a different location. Wondering what other's have experienced.

I have hardly shopped at all at Ralphs since the change in the coupon policy, but before June 25, I had no problem combining paper coupons with e-coupons at Ralphs. Paper coupons doubled and e-coupons were not. This was true for P&G, Unilever and Shortcuts.com coupons that I redeemed in Ralphs in Cerritos and Mira Loma.

I did my 1 product test today. Now I'm even more confused! ha ha

I bought 2 Healthy Choice Panini @ $2 each.

My receipt says:

HC Panini RC 2.00
MC 0466 SCuts-HC Panini -1.00

HC Panini RC 2.00
MC Scanned Coupon -1.00

Balance 1.00


I double checked on Shortcuts and I have 2 Healthy Choice coupons active with $1/2 different expiration dates. It looks like it gave me both Shortcuts coupons and my mfg coupon. Anyone have different idea?

I'm not shopping Ralphs much either but went today for the 50 cent cereal after coupons and the 20 cent cantelope. It's across the street from Vons so since I was already there, was convenient. Also still trying to find ways to get bigger discounts on Ralphs with their horrid new system and just 1 or 2 good deal items a week.

I have tried the loaded coupons and the manufacture coupons and it works just fine I havent had a problem at all. Sounds like it gave you two off on the loaded coupons, who knows, maybe the loaded coupons were good for so many, you can prob go into your account and see what exactly the details read. I think the loaded coupons, and the stacked coupons are pretty much the best way to shop at Ralphs now,
