Muir Glen organic canned tomatoes - .22 after coupon!

The ad had Muir Glen canned tomatoes listed at 2/$3. However, in my Rainbow, a big section of the shelf was filled with regular diced or stewed Muir Glen tomatoes for $1.50, clearanced 50%, down to $.97! There is a $.75/1 Muir Glen product coupon in the 09-28-08 SS, making this a great price for those tomatoes!

Great! 22¢ and you don't even need to double that coupon....can use it as filler for the $25.

There is also MG tomato paste for $0.75 clearance, so FREE.

On Monday I stopped at the Rainbow on Central Ave NE and 44th and there were the tomato cans for 50% off, but no tomato paste.

Anyone know if this is YMMV or is it pretty standard that all Rainbows have some clearnace? I would order coupons if I knew that I could find some near by this weekend when they come, but I don't want to waste the money on coupons and time looking for them if there aren't that many out there. Thanks

I usually find a clearance item when I go to Rainbow after someone has posted about it....but I don't know if it's their policy.

(Unlike Target, where I hardly ever see the clearance items everybody else gets)
