Penny Item fun!!

Thought it would be fun to talk about our penny items!

For those of us that get to take advantage of the weekly penny items...

What are your favorite ones?

What are your least favorite ones?

My favorite penny items are milk, sliced cheese, and bounty paper towel roll. I like these the most because they are staples in my household.

My least favorite is the tea bags. We don't use them so I either don't get them or just donate them!

My faves are the salad dressing, milk and toilet paper. Least favorite, potato chips. I don't even bother rushing out for that!

Milk and paper towels are probably my favorites. Have they ever done eggs?

Tea, coffee, and crackers don't excite me too much, but I grab them for charity anyway.

It's been nice to have an opportunity to try some of the Publix brand items for cheap. We rarely buy tomato juice so that one was a nice treat. Their spaghetti sauce wasn't bad. We decided we didn't care for their cocoa.

I doubt they'd ever do it, but wouldn't it be neat if the penny item sometime was something like 1 lb apples?

My faves of course are cheese, bread, milk.. things that I don't as often get coupons for!

I've never gotten a paper towel roll, but I don't run out and get the penny item every week.

I'd love to see fruit/veggies as a penny item. Or a box of pasta.. that's always useful in our house!

My favorites are milk, toilet paper, and paper towels.

My least favorite that I still buy - Frosted Flakes. I think this has been the item 2-3 times in the last year. Why not another kind of their cereal? The Frosted Flakes are too sweet for me, but I get them and eat them when I am low on my usual cereals.

Favorite guilty pleasure - chips. Mmmm salt & vinegar. I never buy chips, so this is an excuse for a little treat.

Very least favorite - bleach. I just don't use bleach, so I have passed that one up.

My least favorite - 2L cola and the chips

What I would love to see: fruit would be awesome and maybe detergent. I have a ton but still 1cent is 1 cent, lol...

and why can't I feel some of the Publix Penny Item love???

My all time favorite is laundry detergent. Usually a $6+ item for .01. My least favorites are apple juice and iced tea.

A FYI, a little birdie told me that this week we are getting paper towels. Several of you like that one so you should be doing the happy dance.

I had fun with the 1/2 gallon of milk. I bought 3 double papers so I got 3 gallons of milk between the trips. Enought for the week here. The free milk paid for my papers and then some. ;-) THeresa
