Be on the lookout: Coupons found at Publix

I don't know how long they have been out but today I found the Family Savings booklet. It's red with holiday pictures on the front so it's probably pretty new. There are lots of coupons in there but one that stood out was buy any ONE Hungry Jack item (coupon shows instant potatoes and pancake mix) and get ONE can of Crisco spray FREE. After I saw that I went to check out the Hungry Jack prices. They had potatoes for $1.99 and there are .35 off coupons out and they had pancake mix for $1.79 for which there are .55 coupons out. Pretty good deal to me especially if you need Crisco spray which sells for $2.19. It's a manufactures coupon good until 12/31. Maybe there will be some specials on Hungry Jack with the holidays coming. I will hold my coupons and wait!

Those items should qualify for the Smucker Holiday rebate, too.

So, any reason why those bottom 2 couldn't go together? Buy a No bake mix, get $2 off nuts and a free dipping chocolate?

Kelloggs Cereal had Peelies on them for .75/1. They were just stocking the shelves when I got there so there were plenty for the taking!!

I found a coupon booklet/pamphlet(sp?) for Maxwell House coffee. It is in the shape of a tea/coffee cup. It says: Save $1.00 When you buy any (1) 11 oz. or larger package of Maxwell House. It has a picture of the can and a plastic larger package of the ground coffee. I would love to use this on instant but I don't think instant comes in a package that big.

I found them in the turnstyle at the front of the store where the weekly ads are.

I found a cardboard display of various Scotch mailing products near the front of the store. On it was a tearpad for $1/2 good on specific products (Cat # 142, 3650C, 7900, 7920, 7913, 7914, 7915, 8006, 8007, 7920-val, 7913-hol, 7915-hol). Cat # 7913 is the 6"x9" mailer that is regularly $0.59 at Publix.

So, when you go looking for Scotch mailers to use your $1/2 coupon from the Family Savings booklet, look for these tearpads. Both the Family Savings and the tearpad are manufacturer's coupons so you can't combine them, but the tearpad coupons don't say Publix on them so can be used elsewhere. They also have a longer expiration date than the Family Savings booklet coupons (1/31/08).

Yesterday I found a coupon at Publix that is perfect for the sale right now. I found it at the store near my house but today my mom went to a different store and didn't see them at all.
It was a tearpad in front of the salads. This is what is says:
Get one Free 24 oz jar of Del Monte Orchard Select or SunFresh Fruit (value up to $2.00) when you buy one Publix Salad or Publix 10 oz. Spinach. Good only at Publix. Manufacturer's Coupon Expires 11/28/07

The fruit rang up as an Advantage Buy for 2 for $4.
