Retroactively Applying Coupons to a Previous Purchase at Publix

Hello all,

Today I was at Publix buying food but I didn't have any coupons for my bagels and I was told by the cashier that if you have the coupon and you save your receipt you can take them to the customer service desk and they will retroactively apply the coupon discount to you. I'm not sure if it works at other Publix that way I can only assume yes but I'd still check just in case. I thought I'd share it just in case if no one knew about this.

I've actually done this at Walmart, too, but I wouldn't make a habit of it. One time the cashier forgot to scan one of my coupons so she sent me to CS. They took care of it.

So the other day I ran across some tremendous clearance that I knew I had coupons for (Lysol wipes and Puff tissues in Halloween packaging . . . LOL). I bought and returned the next day with the coupons I "forgot."

Many do this when they forget a coupon. I think most stores will help us out when we forget a coupon. :)

Publix has done this numerous times for me. Sometimes because I truly did forget; sometimes because I found a dealio that "i have a cpn for that at home but i didn't know i was getting it" type of thing... I've not had a problem with it at all :)
