Will be coming to Florida for Christmas - where do I find Publix coupon books. Will be visiting with my daughter in Sarasota and need to help her learn to coupon. Any advice on shopping at Publix will be greatly appreciated.

The Publix booklets can be found either in the turnstyle at the front of the store, at the customer service desk, or in cardboard displays usually somewhere around the customer service desk at the entrance of the store.

Has anyone encountered this at Publix: I look for and ask for the Winter Savings Booklet, since last week, and am met with blank faces. Customer service in several stores in Palm Beach County have said that they don't know what I am asking for because they haven't had anything like that. I even described the photo on front and what is in the booklet (which I read on the net). One store said that it was gone as soon as it came in. However, I think that she just said that to move me along. She first said she didn't see a booklet like that. It seems like either my area never had them, or that my area lets them all get taken by just a few people. If the cust. svc. folks never even saw them, then they must have been snatched up or were never there.

It is very disturbing to me that I can find them for sale on the internet, but not in my stores at all.

It's not just you, your store or your county - trust me. There are numerous books that I have NEVER seen in my store - and neither have the CS people (and I have a great relationship with them).

I was in the store when they set up a standee (can't remember for which booklet). That thing sat empty for 24 hours - then moved behind the CS desk. When I asked about the books, they said they never got them.....just the standee to put them in.

On the flip side, there will always be people who take enmass to resell wherever they can make a profit. It wouldn't really matter (IMHO) if they took them all at one time, or took 4 a day EVERY day - the end result is the same. I also don't like the idea of putting them behind the CS desk. My Publix gets slammed with people buying lottery, cigs, money orders, etc., and whenever I do have to go their for RC (or whatever), I have to wait forever.

I just keep trying to tell myself there will always be other deals & these particular deals will eventually return again - even if it's next Christmas
