Florida publix shoppers

I love shopping at Publix. Although now I think it is changing. With Walmart matching their sales it is going to be hard for them to keep the business they have. If I can get the same sales, and also get the rest of my items cheaper I am going to go to walmart to do that. I am lucky that mine has great customer service, but I know that is not the same everywhere. The only time I could see going to publix over walmart is if I have stackable coupons, that would give me a reason to go there, but I would only get those items, not anything else.

..but money is tight, and prices matter..!!

How do you expect to get the Publix deals at Walmart? I thought they would match a printed ad as long as it wasn't for a free item - will Walmart match a Publix BOGO?

They always do mine. Even though you don't have to I make sure I bring the ads with me. As long as it has a price on it they will match it. Sometimes their brand is cheaper but if not then I get the same deals I would at publix but I also get the rest of my stuff at a cheaper price.

The only time I will go to publix now as opposed to walmart is when they have a better deal. IE: this week they have the 4roll of scott TP on sale for 2.49, I had a $1/1 Mnf Q and a $1/1 store q so it ended up costing 0.49 at publix. So of course I got it there. Other than deals like that I go to walmart.

Oh and FYI they also will match Winn Dixie as well who also has great sales. :) I have about 4 stores I price match per trip to walmart. :)
