I had a very short and very pleasant conversation with a store manager over the phone he totally understood 1 coupon/1 item concept said yes certainly they can take both man. coupons.

Today I went to customer service and it got ugly. They said you have to BUY a shaver to get a free gel. The term they used "technically free" shaver. I tried to point out that when there is B1G1 store sale and I use two $1 off coupons I take that $1 off second "technically free" item. She said but it is not a store sale.

I don’t really like confrontation and my life does not depend of that gel and if given a choice I would rather let it go then go into a battle for it but once I am standing there (the store manager encouraged me to) as if I am a beggar, for the second time explained that you have to BUY it not get it for free, it felt very humiliating.
I did fight for myself they took the coupon and I got the gel for free but it was UGLY.

And this is the same store I had to fight about 5 yeas ago when all of a sudden they said I cannot use B1G1 coupon in combination with B1G1 sale, took those coupons just fine for as long as I can remember and then one day no more. Sad thing is this is the store across the street from where I work, any other one would increase the gas bill.

When I left I was very agry and did say I am not shopping here again but next week is Nissin sale and I have coupons and they are just across the street. Oh well, life goes on.
