Publix Green Advantage Buy Flyer Missing in South Florida

The current Publix Green Advantage Buy flyer appears to be MISSING in South Florida. Neither Broward nor Palm Beach county Publix stores seem to have this flyer which started Oct. 8. I checked a half dozen Publix stores yesterday and the managers told me different stories ranging from they never received it or that they were recalled by corporate. I was also told that either it was never printed up or that they are printed up but they have problems distributing it. The story varied according to which manager I spoke with.

Have you received the current Green Advantage Buy Flyer in your area? Also does anybody have any information as to why the lack of these flyers in South Florida?

These are all over in my area. The comment about them being recalled sounds like a smoke screen to me. I don't understand why people think they have to pull stuff out of the butts like that. Come on folks just tell it like it is, either you tossed them by mistake, you're totally out of them or you never got them, whatever. But recalled, ummmmmmmmmm I doubt it.

I'm in Broward and have been to 4 stores, I can't find it either. I'm heading to Publix again today, I will update if found.

If we can't find the Green Advantage Flyer, would be allowed to just give the cashier the LU# of the coupon we want to use? Since they DON'T have this flyer, they can't insist we use only hard copy since it just isn't available down here.

Actually, I'm pretty sure they can insist. There's many times when I don't get certain coupons because they just aren't in the newspapers in Central FL, but that doesn't mean I can just go to the store and give them the barcode number. As unfortunate (and frustrating) as it is, sometimes there just isn't much we can do.

Some stores may take the LU# in lieu of the actual coupon. This is a YMMV sorta thing.

My store normally runs out of the YAF and the GAF at least a week before they are expired. They always take the LU number and just type it in, but YMMV with each individual store. A scan is available on another site.

Been wondering the same thing myself...no green advantage flyer at any of the stores in Indian River County...got mine as an insert in the Sunday paper. Went thru it with a fine tooth comb & the only thing that stood out, was the Suave Men's Professional Shampoo/Conditioner as follows:

& several MQ's in the 10/16/11 RP that made this a MM if U were fortunate enough to have gotten them. None in my local paper, but I won't complain about $.10/bottle.

Can't believe all of this "to-do" over Suave, but don't see anything else.

Normally I could understand if a manager objects to just using an LU# without an actual GAF coupon. However, in this case there are NO GAFs available in South Florida. Obviously someone messed up in the distribution system of this flyer so I don't see how they could object to using just the LU# if no GAFs available.

You should contact corporate and let them know which stores do not have the green flyers. They are very good at answering fast.
