So confused about publix store coupons! Help?

I rec'd a booklet in the mail from Publix and am confused by the coupons. This is the "stock up and save" booklet and the coupons say "manufacture coupon" on the back with the exp. date BUT they do not have a barcode, just a Publix only #. So is it a store coupon then? Are they allowed to piggyback with a manufacture coupon that is not store specific? I don't know what to make of it.

Another weird coupon book came from the Dasani water I purchased, a 24 pack. The coupons are double sided Publix only coupons, with a different product on each side. How do I redeem?!? If I only want, say cambell's spaghettio's, do I just lose the flip side for money off canned chicken?

This MQ vs PQ thing has happened several times. Best explanation I heard was that possibly the printer didn't change the wording on the q from "Manufacturer" to "Store". I've had more than one cashier challenge my stack because of the wording. If they won't <ahem> comply, I ask for a manager to join us and they straighten it out. It IS a PQ. And it's a pain.

Yeah, the Dasani is the weirdest, isn't it? You definitely lose out on the product on the reverse side. Gyp!

I think just about all the Stock up and Save Qs state something to the effect of cannot be used with other Qs, so it really doesn't matter which type they are, they are the ONLY Q that can be used for purchase.

Same as last year. I was hoping that the comments some of us made for the survey would have helped this. It did NOT.

This particular booklet came from a special site Publix had set up. You had to log in and give your name and address. Some of the folks from last year received an e-survey. There was a place that asked if you wanted to be reminded this year, so my notification came in an email.

The site WAS Stocking Spree (was opened up either late February or early March).
