I can't believe that NOT ONE STORE IN FLORIDA DOUBLES!!! This isn't fair. I mean I talk to my family in Pennsylvania and their's sometime triples coupons. Sorry but I just need to vent a bit. I am only getting 60-75% savings which is good but I always wanted to try to get that 98-100%. I guess when I visit (next year) I will have to rent a trailor to do it up there and bring it back with me huh? Hahaha...

Yeah I wish we doubled too but it isnt too bad. I still can get that 90% savings on a regular bases by stacking similar coupons and paying careful attention to the newest Target coupons available.

Look at it this way, if you lived up there, you wouldn't have a Publix! Most places only double up to $1.00 and I can regularly stack enough coupons to get $2.00 off a single item. That's great to me!

i know how you feel! I have family in PA and NY telling me about their great savings and here i am get jealous over it....lol. I mean, don't get me wrong, i still do great at publix most times, would just like to see how i would do if we doubled. Like you said though, when i go up to visit, i am bringing all my Q's and will be doing one heck of a shopping trip up there!...LOL

Yeah istva but Publix is the only store around me that even accepts a manufacturer and a store Q at ths same time. No one else will allow more than one Q per item and they won't allow more than 1 Q on a BOGO offer.

Yes it sure does suck!! Kmart is the only store to double coupons they do it i think 1-2 times a year. its only certain kmarts and they allow up to 10 coupons (now) per day and up to $1 can be doubled! I'm waiting for the next one!!

Kmart may do their doubles, but their prices are usually jacked up. And truthfully, the Kmarts near me have gotten rather "nasty" and I would not trust food items from them. My DS used to get upset with me asking why I bother going in there, because I would shop barely finding some of what I would be looking for. Then get to the checkout to find one or two cashiers and lines rapped around. I would just put down my stuff and leave out of aggravation.
I have found Publix to be one of the most friendly stores with couponing. Allowing us to stack many times gives us better deals than other stores in states that do double. But it does work both ways. I just did a shop for 1 of my sisters in NY and shipped it up because even with shipping, she could not get a deal anywhere near it. Not to say doubling is not great, because she has gotten things free with doubling and her sales that I wouldn't be able to touch down here. (To bad you can't ship frozen!)
I guess what I am saying is there is good and bad with doubling. As much as I would like it down here in the LOND, I would hate to lose my stacking ability for it!

I noticed that visiting my parents, THe publix near my sister in ga doubles up to 50 cents. But florida no doubles. But i scored some good deals their while i was visting even with non doubling. Most publix are near a target so they accept target coupons there as well! And you can stack publix and manufacturer coupons together. Depending on the sales sometimes if its products you are needing you can acheive a higher savings. Im just glad to save on stuff i use sometimes i save alot sometimes i dont. But I NEVER pay full retail!

Apparently, K-mart is doing doubles starting on 6/19 in some areas.

Do you have a Target near you? I dont have a Super Target near me but the regular Target lets me stack a Target coupon + A Manufacturer. I can get health and beauty items pretty cheap! I also got a lot of aluminum foil on sale this week. Perhaps you could try there too? (I'm just trying to help you find some other places to coupon).

Yes we have a target but just a regular near us but where do you get their coupons? I only see maybe 4-6 innewspapers and their ads don't have them. KMart is about an hour drive for me and with 4 kids, that's not going to happen. I think Albertson's needs to be alittle me accepting like Publix. Yeah Publix has the BOGO but some of the things Albertsons has is better. Like the Meats. I have Hormel tenderloin Q's that luckily don't expire until end of July and they have those deals B1G2. Which is awesome but they only accept the one Q on that purchase. I talked to one of the manager's who said they tried to get to upper ups and give them ideas about maybe during the slow season, get a day or two during the week to allow doubles or maybe Military family's 10% off. They denied his request so I am writing a letter this week to see if maybe it comes from the consumer than it is possible. Thanks guys...
