Who's your favorite cashier/Publix employee

Hi Guys,

I'm here in Alpharetta/ Johns Creek, Ga. area. I know we all have bad days shopping, but I also know we all have GREAT days shopping. I've seen posts on both, but I'd like to dedicate this thread to the latter.
So...tell me...who's your FAVORITE Publix employee (first name only, please...don't want to target anyone or freak anyone out)

I'll start....
My favorite cashier is Andrew. He always has a smile on his face, he remembers my name, AND the names of ALL of my kids (there are 5 of them), AND he is a coupon MASTER!

This is such a hard question as I have so many at my Publix. What I usually try to do is when I find that I have an extra moment or two, I send an email to Publix corporate to let them know what a great job the store is doing, or of a particular employee that is doing a great job on a given day! One time I was pleasantly surprised to actually get a note in snail mail thanking me for taking the time to compliment his store, from the store manager.

I almost didn't post to this because I don't want to sound politically incorrect.

I visit about 8 different publix.. (like all are 8 miles apart)

There is ONE employee who is my favorite..

the store at I-295 and st augustine road..

there is an Indian lady but that may be a bad statement on my part..

anyway..

she ALWAYS asks where i got my coupons, is happy for me, I always tip her off to deals.. she tipped me off on the flavored breakstone sour cream to get the chipotle (she was right) I hooked her up on cinnamon toast crunch.. (i go to this store 2x per month)

anyways... she rules.. and I feel bad for not knowing her name.. Ill update when I do..

I'm in the Alpharetta/Roswell, GA area. I have 3 favorites: Gail, Pat and Kip. The manager Dave and Asst. Manager Alice are awesome too. They are always friendly and seem genuinely glad to see me whenever I come in. They will tell me about store coupons that I may have missed and I never leave without someone giving me a hug. It's a great store!

I'm not in Georgia, but I have to say that I am crazy about all the folks who work at my Publix! It's impossible to pick an all-out favorite. (Well, maybe this one "kid" -- but I'm not going to say who!) There is not an ornery one in the bunch. Today I went in for some staples mostly and the penny deal, and manning the register at my checkout lane was none other than the store manager himself. That man is all over the place. I've seen him at work in various departments of the store on different occasions. I love Publix!

I will add to this thread! I had the best experience with a cashier named Leslie at a Boynton beach Publix today!!! She was great! She kept a smile on her face when I handed her my stack of coupons AND she actually paid attention to make sure they scanned properly. I don't think it was to see if I had purchased the "right" thing because she didn't look back on the receipt of in the bags that were already in my cart. There was one coupon that I thought was for $1.00 but she *nicely* pointed out that it said up to .95 cents value. Anyway, I said to her thank you for being so nice and pleasant. She said come see me anytime coupons don't scare me... and she smiled!!!

Here in Tallahassee I shop at all the Publix stores; there are about 10 maybe; but anywhoo...my favorite employees is Poorshea, Ms. Sade, Mr. Antonio, Mr. Charlie and Randy (the manager) at the Lake Ella location. They are others at all the other locations but this is the one I shop at the most.

I love shopping at Publix! There are so many nice, helpful employees. When I lived in Duluth, GA my favorite cashier was Adam. Now that we've moved to Loganville, GA I've only been to Publix twice, but have been pleased with the service. I was greeted by nearly every employee I walked passed and asked if I needed help on several occasions.

I agree Publix cashiers are generally the best, I don't shop enough (yet) to have a favorite but if there is any question from cashier over coupons it's easily resolved by the manager/front person on staff.

I recently had a store manager correct the cashiers error on the garrity flashlights when she called him over confused about the lysol coupons. She had put them in for 2.59 (same as flashlight rang up) and he explained to her that it should be for full amount listed and corrected it for me. I wrote an email to corporate about the experience :)

I must say, in my Publix in Boynton Beach, FL I looooove the sushi guy! LOL! All the cashiers are great and none have ever given me a hard time with coupons.

But I think the guy who works in the sushi department is awesome! He always asks if he can do a little extra to something. Even if I don't want a particular item in my box, he'll gladly ask if he can replace it with something else or if I want to customize a sushi roll.
I don't know his name, they never wear a name badge, and even if I ask I am sooooo bad with accents I would never understand him, then feel bad mispronouncing his name. :P
