When should I wait to throw my coupons away?

So I went to publix yesterday to get this deal. I handed the cashier all my coupons she looked at them and handed me back 1MQ and 1PQ. Told me I can only use the Yellow advantage BOGO coupon and 1 MQ. Told her no I am buying two items so I should be able to use 2MQ. She went to get the manager. The manager came over telling me I am getting the item free so I can't use a coupon on the item, the coupon policy changed and I can't. Told that I could because it's two items. Just had to walk away.

Have all the Q's, but my store doesn't have the product! Was told they are out in the warehouse so the manager offered to write me a raincheck for the Q! Yay!

I had done this deal today and the publix I go to always has an issue with me using coupons...in any event I was not successful in doing this deal.Well ,I did purchase products but they refuse to take the $3 off coupon from the sweet summer savings booklet. They said I was purchasing 2 and could only use the b1g1 store coupon. I thought I could use 2 store and 2 manufacture coupons. I am frustrated as I always run into some sort of problem. I mentioned their coupon policy but that did not matter. Please ,any advice on this will be appreciated .

I too occasionally have a problem with a local Publix. Fortunately for me, I live within 5 miles of 5 Publix stores. Do U have the option of another Publix store? I have found that even though it is less convenient for me, one particular store is very "on-the-ball" & familar with their coupon policy while most of the others are not.

My understanding of the new Publix policy with regard to BOGOs (I am taking this directly from their form) is as follows: For a buy-one-get-one free (BOGO) offer, each item is considered a seperate sale. We will accept a manufacturer's coupon and either a Publix or a competitor coupon on the same item. Do U have a copy of their policy? If not, they are at the Customer Service counter. My interpretation of this deal is as follows:

1 - Publix BOGO coupon from the Yellow Advantage Flyer
2 - Manufacturer's coupons for $3.00/1
1 - Publix coupon for $3.00/1 from the Sweet Summer Savings flyer

If this was the way U presented it to them & they refused to honor it, I personally would 1st have a conversation with the store manager, if this did not solve the problem then I would 2nd, contact Publix coorporate & voice my grievence to them.

My local stores were out of the product & I had to elect a Rain-Check. I can only hope that they will honor the above scenerio once the products are back in stock. I will keep U posted.

I unfortunately have been turned down numerous times when asking for rainchecks for advantage ads. This sale included.
In any event...it is a dead deal for me without the BOGO publix Q. Without that Q is works out to $11.99- $3 Sweet Summer Savings flyer PQ - $3 MQ IP or 06-12-11 SS = $5.99 each
