I'm guessing market share in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco is not where they want it. Who's the main competition? Sweetbay?

May not be long until they start popping up in other areas.

In the Tampa area (Hillsborough County) we have the following grocery chains (all in about a 5 mile radius from me

Publix
Winn Dixie
Sweetbay
Albertsons
Walmart
Neighborhood Market (Walmart grocery store)
Target and Super Target
Save-a-lot
Bravo SuperMarkets
GFS MarketPlace
Aldi
Whole Foods
Fresh Market
Greenwise (Publix organic store)

That's alot of competition. Some of the chains have multiple stores within that 5 mile radius.

Here's the worst thing, the store that is closest to me will only take competitor coupons from Walmart (which has no coupons) , Target, Sweetbay (limited coupons) , Whole Foods and FreshMarket (limited coupons).

No more Winn Dixie or Albertsons coupons for me unless I go up the road a bit and I will !!!! (P.S. I'll also let them know why when they ask why they don't see me so often)

Wow! That IS a lot of competition. Interesting that WD and Albertson's don't merit county-wide competitor status that I suppose Target has. Hmmm. Yeah, that blows.

First, we don't have your population density, and we only have WD, Target, Sav-A-Lot, Aldi, Bravo and WM & WM Neighborhood Mkt. Do you know if S-A-L, Aldi, or Bravo have any decent comp q's? All I know about is the S-A-L $5 off $25 when you join the Smart Shopper Club. I don't recall any discussions about those competitors.
