Default Publix Crystal Light BOGO Deal -- Question, please help!

    I am confusing myself...

Crystal Light is on sale BOGO this week at Publix for $2.99

I have only 3 of the Buy 2, Get 1 Free man. coupons...

    My question is...

For every coupon I use, since it's on BOGO, I am actually buying 2 and getting 2 more free by using this coupon, right?

So every coupon = 4 Crystal Lights

    If I have 3 coupons = 12 items

And due to the BOGO sale, I am actually paying $2.99 X 6 for 12 of them, then getting $2.99 X 3 OFF of that by using 3 coupons, right?

So for 12 Crystal Lights I am paying $8.97 or 75 cents each ??

This is not making sense to me... I've seen other scenarios where you only use 2 of these coupons, and get 6 products for $1.99

Would I be better off to only get 6 of them and use 2 coupons? I'm so confused! HELP! I wanted to go to Publix tonight, but can't figure this out,

I don't shop Publix, but I can help. You want to buy in groups of 6. The BOGO sale works on groups of 2, and your q works on groups of 3. Here's a breakdown

    Buy 6 Crystal Light
3 are free from BOGO sale
2 are free from B2G1 coupon
    = pay for 1

    You'll pay $2.99 for 6 or $0.50 each.

Ok, thank you. So I am definitely better off (cheaper) to only buy 6 and use 2 of my coupons. I think I'd rather do that and only get 6 since I don't really "need" 12 of them at this time, and just wanted to get what I could with coupons. I'll save my one more lonely coupon in case I get another to use before this sale is up this week.

Thanks so much for the quick help!!

I only had 3 coupons also and had to buy 12. It is 1 coupon per 4 (2 BOGO deals). The publix down the street from my work had downloaded something in their system where it made it that you actually had to buy the 2 to get one free otherwise the computer wouldn't accept it. It comes out to $.75 each. Still pretty good.

Carly you did the math right, you just needed one more coupon to use on your 12 to get the max benefit out of it.
