Default Question on B1G1 at Publix

So today was going to be my first shopping trip with sales and coupons. I'm sick! So my husband (who admits to being excited about this) took my list and coupons. We were happy that he saved about 45%!

Here's my question. I read ahead that if Publix does it B1G1 then a second coupon might not work, unless they consider it half off each and you're not getting one for free. So we weren't sure if they would let us use two coupons with the B1G1.

The receipt shows that he bought one, then the other is listed, and then the second one's price is taken off. Such as the Tyson's chicken nuggets is listed as:

    5.99
    5.99
    -5.99

But when he handed them 2 coupons, they took off for both. So my question is, did we just luck up or is this going to be every week? He didn't think to ask. She scanned them and nothing came up to stop it.

Yes you can always use 2 coupons even on a BOGO sale. You can find more about Publix policies HERE in the FAQ thread.

In FL, we have what are called true BOGO's since one rings up zero. Even though they don't ring up both at half price like in other states, you can still use one coupon on each.
