Check-in for Publix Shoppers in Highlands County, FL
We have check-ins for other FL counties so I figured why not? I hardly ever see fellow couponers in my stores-- I shop in Sebring. But I know I can't be the only one as somebody is getting the same deals I want.
So how many Highlands County shoppers do we have on the board?

Nobody? I find that hard to believe with so many members on HCW. Especially since I saw two couponers yesterday at Publix in Sebring. One with a big coupon binder.

I shop the Sebring one on some Sundays. I live in Okeechobee, but the Tampa Tribune has all the coupons. We get the Palm Beach Post here, which is always missing inserts or coupons, so I go on sunday, buy my papers and do some shopping while there :)

Someone actually posted on this thread! Thanks for posting. :) I was feeling lonely here all by myself. You must shop at the one in south Sebring. I rarely go to that one since I live in Avon Park and have one closer to this side.

I shop at the Fairmont Sebring store. Have you inquired about what competitor coupons they will be taking? I am wondering if they will take Target. All this chat about Publix taking CVS and Walgreens,I have never found one that does and I tried all over.

That's my usual store! I haven't been there since the new policy was revealed so I don't know which competitors they'll officially have yet. I would assume it'll be Winn Dixie, Save a Lot, Sweetbay, and Aldi. I would say no on the Target since our closest one is a good hour away. I asked at the (now closed) one in Avon Park about WAG a few years ago and was told no. So I never asked about WAG or CVS Q's after that.

I will probably be shopping at the Lake Placid and/or Sebring one more now. I LOVE my Publix here in Okeechobee. They are so nice and friendly. Unfortunately they are only taking Winn Dixie and U Save which doesn't leave much of an opportunity. :(

Re: Check-in for Publix Shoppers in Highlands County, FL
Do you know which competitors the one in South Sebring will accept now? I know it'll be Sweetbay since that's so close. They are building a new Save-A-Lot near Sebring Circle so if that one isn't allowed right now, I'll bet it will be. And they've gotta take Winn Dixie with it being pretty close.
The one at the other end of Sebring near Walmart takes Winn Dixie, Sweetbay, and Save-A-Lot.
