I have a question... I want to use the $10 coupon wyb a $50 gift card (amex)...If that is all I buy, would I also be able to use the $5.00 coupon off a $50 purchase that I got from yesterday's paper for Albertsons?
help... I am planning my trip to the store today.

Unfortunately, the Albertsons $5/50 coupon states that it's not valid on gift cards,
so you can't use it.

Thanks a ton.. it's still a good deal... I needed to get a gift card for $100.00 for someone... if I buy 2 $50 gift cards and get $10.00 off each then pay the $4.95 for each gift card to activiate it... it's like paying $44.95 for a $50.00 gift card = pay $89.99 for 2 gift cards which equal $100.00... not bad right? I think it's worth it.

I agree, even with the activation fee included, you are still saving $5.05 per card. I am buying them and using them to fill the gad tank in our cars (DH has a long commute) which is the only way I can get a break on gas prices right now.

well, I was able to go to my publix... they only had 1 $50 gift card and I wanted to get 2 $50 gift cards... I grabbed a $100 gift card and asked if they could offer the same deal and give me $20.00 off.... they agreed... also, I only had to pay for 1 activation.. I was so excited :)
