The $1.50/1 bakery bread item is a Publix store coupon and is found on the Viva Italia flyer found in stores. There are coupons on both sides of this flyer.

But can both this coupon and the $5/20 items be used together?

Absolutely - the bread coupon is not covered under the $5/20 coupon.

Great idea on the baguette pizzas. Couldn't figure out what to do with the bread - the stores around me have hard as a rock publix bread.

Thanks, I finally found the flyer with the q's, before I had been printing them but weren't any of the back side q's. So today I got another 20 cans and 3 loaves of bread,

ok - here's one of the scenarios that I have been doing this week, the second half of Viva Italia Sale

2 prerequistes to make this deal work as described - as always YMMV

    A) Your Publix takes Sweetbay as a competitor
    B) Your store allows you to stack the Individual $1/4 coupons and the $5/20 coupon from the Viva Italia flyer - luckily, mine do! and they allow multiples too! It doesn't hurt to ask.

OK - before you ask I'm in Florida, true BOGO and NO DOUBLING

    So here goes -

    $12.50 - 20 Green Giant Vegetables - BOGO
    $1.99 - 2 Uncle Ben's Ready Rice - BOGO
    $1.17 - 2 Mueller's Pasta - BOGO
    $4.47 - Italian Five Grain Baguette, 8oz bag, $1.49
    $6.60 - 20 Hunt's 8 ox Tomato Sauce - still 6/$2.00 this week
    $13.90 - 20 Hunt's Diced Tomatoes 14.5 ounce BOGO
    $8.99 - 2 Cavit Pinot Noir BOGO
    TOTAL $49.62
    minus
    $5.00 - 5 x $1/4 Publix Coupon - Green Giant Items
    $5.00 - 1 x $5/20 Publix Coupon - Italian Days
    for Green Giant items
    $2.00 - 2 x $1/1 Uncle Ben's Ready Rice 2/20/11 RP
    $1.00 - 1 x $1/1 Muellers Pasta, Any
    $4.50 - 3 x $1.50/7 Publix bakery bread with the purchase of (6) Hunt's Tomato Sauces
    $5.00 - 1 x $5/20 Publix Coupon - Italian Days flyer for Hunt's Tomato Sauce 8 ounce
    $2.70 - 6 x $.45/3 1/23/11 SS for Hunt's Dice tomatoes 11.5 or greater
    $5.00 - 5 x $1/4 Publix Coupon - Italian Days flyer for Hunt's 14.5 ounce
    $5.00 - 1 x $5/20 Publix Coupon - Italian Days flyer
    for Hunt's Diced Tomatoes
    $2.00 - 2 x $1.00 Cavit 750 ml wine - Wine Tag
    minus
    $10 - 1 x $10/$40 Sweetbay Competitor coupon

    Total coupons used $47.20

    $49.62 - $47.20 (Coupons) = $2.42 Total

Now if you don't want to get the wine, you'll have $4.57 in overage to put toward whatever you want.

The nice part about this deal is most of the coupons come from the same source - the Vivia Italia (Italian Days) flyer
Hope this gives you some ideas.

**Ask at your CS desk to make sure they will allow both the Italian Days $'s of the order and specific product store coupons to to be combined together
Although normally only one store coupon is allowed to be used per item, the Managers have the discretion to allow this, and my understanding is that is is widely being allowed.
