Sweetbay coupon $3 off beef

I just found a newspaper 1/2 sheet wrapper on the front page of my newspaper for Sweetbay (Tampa Trib). It advertises their specials and has a $3 off any "Angus" beef puchase. Valid 9/8 - 9/14.

Do you think Publix will take it? My Publix takes Sweetbay coupons, but I don't know about the "Angus" wording.

Publix will take it if they have a "like" product. I would imagine you could use it on any Angus beef product that they carry.

Publix does not carry any ANGUS beef. I was told that the ground beef at Sweetbay is inexpensive after using the coupon. I will go tomorrow.

I didn't know that, thanks for the info. If you have a coupon friendly store, they do have Angus Beef hot dogs .

If you talk to most butchers, they will tell you that beef is beef and most American beef cattle are Angus or some cross breed of Angus. There's really nothing special about the "Angus" label. Just another way to convince us to spend more money. I like SB's beef but will only purchase it when it's on DEEP discount on holiday sales.
