Default Did anyone do the swiffer rebate?

I did and received a $10 discover debit card. I called in to activate the card but I have tried to use it twice and and both times it has come up invalid card. Tried to call the CS # on the card but was on hold 20+ minuted and hung up. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

That's weird. I have done this rebate several times, the last few times they've offered it and not had any problems.

I activated mine online through their site. Maybe try that? I had no problem using my card.

Did you run it as a credit? Most of these cards are to be ran as credit even though they are prepaid debits.

    Were you over the $10?

I always buy a $10 store gc with them - that way I don't have to worry about using up the left over amounts.

The paperwork said to use other methods of payment first, then the card. I *think* it said the card wouldn't work ? if you didn't do it that way. My memory is fuzzy but maybe that helps in some way.

If the amount you want to use it toward is over $10, it will give some sort of an error, but I don't think it will say it's invalid. I always tell them to enter the exact amount first, rather than just swiping it. It always causes fits if the cashier doesn't enter the exact amount.
