To confirm, my store no longer takes RA Qs but still accepts Walgreens and CVS (including Walgreens RRs). I spoke with the Customer Service Manager today on the phone and he said it was a store location decision only (not from Corp) made by the manager due to the increase they've seen in the use of RA $5/20 and $5/25 Qs and that they don't appear to be print-restricted (meaning you can print as many of them as you want). It's an understandable decision given the proliferation of $5/xx RA Qs available regularly.....but I sure miss that extra $5 off I'd make with each trip.
Unfortunately, for the store near me which no longer accepts these....they are losing much of my business as a result of the decision because they now don't have any real edge over the smaller Publix where I prefer to shop since it's smaller/closer.
I used a BJ's coupon yesterday and the cashier (a guy) called over a manager and she said she would take it this time but next time it has to be the SAME size. That cracked me up. It said ANY McCormick Seasoning. ANY means ANY. It wasn't like I was using one for a Bonus Pack or 48oz.
Sometime using Q's is SO frustrating when you hear stories of people using things you were told NO for.
I just got around to the RiteAid video rewards and noticed these are store coupons. Will Publix take them as such on the specific items (to be also used with a mfc as well - i already see some things if that works!) or are/were they only taking the $5/20s?
I'm in Atlanta too (inside the perimeter north of 20). Where are the rest of you so I don't take your stores? There are tons of them around so no need to have too many of all hitting one store! I think this might be what leads to the store crackdowns.
