Have you ever frozen the Simply Potatoes (mashed potatoes)?

It says NOT TO FREEZE on the package...but they are on sale 2 for $4 AND I have a BOGO raincheck..Hmmm...

I don't see where it would hurt the pots but I tried before and the plastic container cracked. Bummer BUT I think if you scoop the pots into a ziplock you would be o.k. They do have a pretty good life span in the fridge too.

I freeze everything (seriously, even tried shampoo - lol). and I still have some in my freezer from about a year ago during a great sale.

I have no problems with them - they take a little longer to cook since I pop them in the microwave straight from the freezer and the centers take a bit. But I just keep stirring them so the edges don't burn and to mix the cold part into the warm part until they are ready.

I bought some of all of them last year when they were bogo. I froze them right away, we are still eating them. Freezing does not hurt them at all.
