Publix is by far the most coupon friendly grocery store in all areas of Florida.![]()
We are vacationing in Fla next week, and of course I am bringing the coupons with me. :) We are packing a lot of snacks and lunches, but if we needed to go and get something, I was hoping to get the dl on the coupon-friendly stores in Orlando (we're staying at the Doubletree at Disney Resort)
We are also spending part of the week in St Augustine- anyone here familiar with the Publix there?
Thanks all!

The Publix right there near property behind the outlet mall (off Lake Buena Vista) isn't bad. I've gone there a few times and don't remember being hassled. The Target on 192 and the one at Millenia are AWFUL. AWFUL. I know this is a Publix thread, but I figured I'd warn you!!

Thanks for the warning! I am also taking my other q folders for wags, rite aid and cvs, with my rr's, ecb's, etc, in case we need sunscreen or something, so that is good to know!! :D

hey there, I live in St. Augustine and let me tell you my local Publix is SUPER coupon friendly. It is the store off rt.16 by the highway (95) exit 318, the plaza is called Mission Trace Center. You will love St. Augustine, it is beautiful, you have to go down to the historic district if you have never been, GORGEOUS! Enjoy your trip!
I was just coming to post this same thing! I was going to ask where to go buy the things we are going to forget at home (because we ALWAYS forget something important). I've never shopped at a Publix store before, and I was hoping to find a coupon-friendly one in the Orlando area.

Yay!! This is great to know!! I would love to be able to not plan to take EVERYTHING (lol) like I want to take some of the Sorrento cheese sticks, but I don't have room for 4 packs, but we'll blow through them pretty quickly... plus I would like to be able to get some mm's if they are in stock to bring down cost...
Thanks!!
I am very excited to be heading to St Augustine, and my 4 year old can't do anything but talk about going to the beach. We've never been there but are super excited about it.
Any suggestions for ideas of things to do, kid-friendly, in St Augustine?

Oh My goodness!!! I live in St. Augustine!!!! The best place to shop is the Publix at Mission Trace which is off of State Road 16. VERY VERY coupon friendly and will help you out with anything. If you are staying on the Island the A1A Publix is good too, but very crowded this time of year with all the vacationers. I try to avoid the Publix at Cobblestone if I am using more then 10 coupons since most of the cashiers go to the customer service desk to get clarification on the coupons. If I can help you in any way, please send me a PM.
Also, when are you vacationing in St. Auggie?

There are lots of things to do that are cheap. Bring toys and you can play and have a picnic at the fort. Lots of open grass area to play Frisbee and football. At the beach there is a water area for kids and a play ground. Also, we have a carousel playground. The Alligator Farm is always fun if you don't see many of those, and then there are trolley trains too. My favorite thing is the beach though.BTW, there are lots of coupon books for attractions in the restaurants downtown.

My 4 year old loved the historical interpreters in the Spanish Quarter in St. Augustine. He thought they really lived there! If you need a place to rest in AC while in the historic district, go to the Greek Orthodox shrine. Quiet, cool, and they don't mind you sitting on their benches insude :).
