Newbie Questions for Publix Shoppers

I am encouraged by all the pics and testimonies. I was in Publix today and a woman ahead of me got a buggy full for $26.00.....Yeah! I was amazed, the lady in front of me and behind her got 4 cantelaupes (?sp) 2 bags of greens and a pint of strawberries for $24.00.....WOW....that confirmed it. I am overwelmed yet encouraged to be more aware of what I spend and save......I have read the beginning of starters but am very new and overloaded with info. What/where do you think would be the first "trip" with coupons in hand to begin my adventure?

Hi & welcome, a cataina is a coupon that prints at the register. Why not start at Publix? With all of their BOGO deals & all of the printable coupons, you can do good! Plus, trade for other coupons you need right here!

The Tide Stain Fighter is at Publix for 3.99. Would it be possible to use...

.75 man q
1.00 target ip (competitors)
2.00 publix q (booklet)

Of course that would be in my weekly trip to the store so that i have coupon to item ratio.

The Target Ip and Publix booklet q's are both store coupons, so you would have to choose one of those. You may use a mfr in addition to the store coupon. HTH.

If I have a coupon to get something free, will it do me no good to save it for a Publix BOGO sale?

Just wondering, since they ring up the two items at half price. I assume it would only give me 1 of them free.

My Publix rings up half price and when the SHOUT was BOGO, I had a Q for BOGO and I got it for FREE! I just paid the tax on 2 bottles.

I was wondering about the Johnson and Johnson $3 off 2 blinkie coupons...do these have to be used on first aid products (they have the red cross on the front) or can they be used on any JJ products? Has anyone tried using them on other JJ products other than first aid?

There has been a bit of confusion, once again, about the wording of a coupon and I have been asked to look into it and make a determination about about the proper usage of this coupon.

The confusion lies in if the recent Blinkie coupon for Johnson & Johnson (J&J) is allowed to be used on ANY J&J product or if it is to be used only on J&J First Aid products.

The wording on the coupon reads "Save $3.00 Off Any TWO Johnson & Johnson Product" and while there is pictures of J&J First Aid products on the coupon and the use of the "Red Cross" J&J First Aid logo the wording and fine print of this coupon does not say that it is to be used ONLY on J&J First Aid products.

I have also looked at the wording of other J&J coupons from inserts and other sources and have seen most of them, when there are exclusions about what products can or cannot be used for the coupon the coupons have all clearly spelled out any restrictions.

So I am going to go ahead and say that this coupon can be used on ANY Johnson & Johnson product per the wording on the coupon. Of course if you feel otherwise that this coupon should only be used on First Aid products from the J&J line, use your own best judgment. And of course your stores may put other limits on the use of this coupon based on how THEY determine the use of this coupon.

If you have questions or issues regarding the use of this coupon or if you have inadvertently been sent a warning or infraction for using this coupon on other J&J products not in the first aid line, please send me a private message.

Anybody in the Pinellas County Florida area? Can I use GFS Marketplace coupons at Publix. These coupons $5.00 off $50.00 purchase was in the entertainment book. So far I can use the Save a Lot coupons.
