You should be able to buy $30 of items before coupons, then hand them the $5/$30, then hand them the other coupons.

I am a newbie my first post and understand I can use a mf coupon and store coupon per item. But a little confused on the coupons that say for example $1 off 3 so does that mean I can only use one of those coupons or if I have 3 of those can I use three?

Thanks
Michelle

Let's say you have several manu coupon which states "$1 off 3 widgets" and several Publix coupons for $.75 off one widget. If you purchase three widgets, you could use just one of the manu coupons (since it covers all three widgets....you can't use any other manu coupons on those three widgets) and three Publix coupons (since it covers just one widget per coupon). So you'd get $3.25 off the thee widgets (one $1/3 mq and three $.75/1 store q).

If you bought 6 widgets, you could use two manu coupons and six publix coupons to get $6.50 off the six (two $1/3 mq and six $.75/1 store q).

Stacking Qs is pretty straightforward in that Publix counts competitor Qs as store Qs and they let you use 1 store and 1 manu Q per item purchased. Sometimes this stacking can result in an overage meaning the purchase price of the item is less than the Qs value. When this happens store policy will dictate if your Publix location gives you the overage to spend in that same transaction or if they mark down the store Q so that the 2 Qs match the price of the item. Either way, it's a good deal.
Well I found out my store DOES take Target coupons, YAY! Considering that Morningstar patties are 3.79, on sale for BOGO, using the $2/2 Target coupon and 2 $1/1 manufacturer coupons, they were free when I got done! First time accomplishing THAT good of a deal..

No, not all in one order. Those are just the order in which I hand over the coupons I have, depending on what type they are. The WD free competitors' coupons no longer apply, since they don't have those anymore.

Depends on your store. Most stores will allow customers to use a $x/$xx if the total includes the manufacturer coupons but not Publix/Comp coupons because we get reimbursed for vendor coupons. Some stores require you to actually be PAYING the /$xx value before using those types of coupons which is fair. Be careful trying to manipulate the system by using different coupons in different order. If you have to do that, you are doing something wrong. I would speak to the CSM their first so you know you are doing something they allow. I would NEVER include competitor/Publix coupons though in your math, thats just wrong.

I would not call this manipulating the system at all. You could hand it over at the end, but then the cashier has to go, ok, let's see, how much was your total before coupons? (at least that's how it happens at all stores I shop at). So by handing it first, it just makes it easier on all parties involved. It's not manipulation.
I try to help my cashiers by organizing my coupons as follows... first if I have an x/xx, then any competitor coupons, then store coupons, then manu coupons.
This allows them to easily see my total is above the limit for the x/xx, then they can enter all competitor q's at once (instead of one at a time...saves lots of time this way), then they enter the Publix store q's by LU#, then scan the mq's.

My cashiers and store managers love me.
