Default Competitor B1G2F allowed at Publix?

I know stores vary, but if yours accepts competitor coupons (like Albertsons), do they take ALL their coupons? Including the B1G2F? What do they do for Albertson's own brand items - do they allow those coupons on Publix brand?

Thanks!

Default Re: Competitor B1G2F allowed at Publix?

I have used Food Lion coupons for Food Lion brand and used Publix brand.

I have used the Albertsons meat coupon for the B1G2. It is how I get alot of my meat now.

I can use the albertson's b1g2 coupons but I cannot use their coupons for store brands or coupons that make an item a particular price, like when they have the cheese coupon for 99c, those are a no go.

I can't use target or FLIPs either since there aren't any stores close. I can use sweetbay and winn dixie x off y purchase.

Hmmm..that was another one I wondered about - ex. the cheese for 99c. I guess I'll have to see what my store does. I wish Publix corporate would have a universal policy!

Well from what I've been told, Publix lets their store managers use their discretion for most things depending on the market in that area.

Corporate publix does not allow using expired publix coupons however, a manager can decide to accept them if he wants to.

Mine is really great, he just says he can only accept traditional coupons that show on them how much they take off of an item or they already have a spot on them to write a price in (for bogo or frees).

I learned a lot just by talking to my manager. I was a little nervous at first to ask these "odd" questions but he really didn't mind.

Me too! It looks like you're from Melbourne, so I can tell you that the store on Post seems to be the most adept at entering coupons correctly and with little hassle. They don't seem to have an issue w/Target coupons either. I am not sure about the Albertsons coupons since I have never tried them there, but my guess is that they would take them. I've used coupons like $.75 off Winn Dixie cheese on Publix cheese w/no issues. The store to avoid is Indian Harbour Beach. The store manager is fantastic, but his underlings don't comply with his rules on competitor coupons, stacking Publix and manuf. coupons, etc. They do take BJs as a competitor there, as does every Melbourne store I've shopped at so far, though. That's a plus for sure!

I didn't know about the BJ's coupons! Where do you find those?

I normally shop at Suntree, but I go to Post occasionally. I don't like that store as much for some reason. I can't quite put my finger on why though.

I'm a BJ's member so I either get them in the mail or else I find them when I shop there. It's worth the membership cost to get the coupons, though. Publix (well, the ones that I shop at) will take them if they are "off any" or otherwise in a size that they carry. Right now there is a $3 any 1 Puffs tissue coupon in the BJs flyer that they have inside the store. The small box is like $1.47 and the big box is $2.33 at Publix, so either free or free with overage depending on your store.

The Post store just seems like it isn't as snazzy as all the bigger, newer stores I think. The prices are better there, though, and the coupon policy is great too.

Default Re: Newbie Questions for Publix Shoppers

Does anyone know if the new coupons available on the Kraft website are truely MQ or Publix Q's? when printed, it says's "Retailer Coupon"? On Kraft's website, it says "Redeemable only at Publix" -so I would assume that means these are store coupons, correct?:shrug7:
