The Asst Customer Service Manager said that I couldn't use both because the Manf Q said that it was one per purchase. I even made sure I had my coupon to item ratio right, I had to pick up milk and eggs and such. So they wouldn't take any of the Publix Q's. Is this right?!? It is just frustrating I can't seem to get it right.
You did everything right. The cashier was inexperienced and the CS was wrong. One per purchase on the mfr only means that you can only use one mfr coupon per item. Publix policy does allow you to use a Publix store coupon as well. Talk to the CS Manager, or Store Manager. If that doesn't work, email Corporate.

Where are the booklets Live Well and Look Beautiful, and All You magazine? Where are booklets like this found in your publix? I have looked everywhere for these things! I know they have some great savings!

The All You Magazine can be found at Walmart in the checkout lanes - there is a charge and it can vary by region (less than $2.00) - you can also subsribe to it.

I've always found the other booklets in the ad turnstile when you enter the Publix store or in a freestanding display nearby.

I was trying to figure out if the Arnold bread 2/$5 is worth it since I have a couple $1 off Arnold coupons. Isn't Publix brand loaf bread in the $1.86 range? If so then Arnold isn't that great a deal.

I'm currently looking at the March Into Savings book. Is this a YMMV thing or how do I justify it if I'm called on it at the register? I've not tried combining store coupons with manufacturer coupons at Publix, but I'd sure love to. I'm just hung up on that detail and while I love our Publix, many of our cashiers seem to very closely scrutinize coupons.

Not all Publix coupons have that verbiage on them. The ones that don't are easy to combine with manufacturer coupons. The ones that say "May not be used in conjunction with any other coupon" can be trickier and YMMV as you say. Many stores interpret that verbiage to mean with any other Publix coupon, but there are some stores that take it to mean no other Publix or manufacturer coupons. It's up to the store management to decide which way they want to go with it.

Do they send out different batches of books to different stores based on region or something like that? I have stacks of Publix books here and every single coupon I can find has that "May not be used in conjunction with any other coupon" thing. Ack!

I did a google search on this mag about 20 mins ago and found their site:
ALL YOU ::

If you go there, they have a link - the banner at the top- to sign up for 2 free issues and you can choose the "bill me " option instead of putting in your CC. After the 2 issues, you can either keep the sub at $2/issue (face is a bit more than that) or you can send the bill back with "cancel" on it to stop the sub.

Might be worth it to help decide if the mag is worth the cost to you
