Default which order do I present coupons at Publix?

So sorry to repeat a question that may have been, and probably has been asked before. I have a lot of manufacturers Q, and then a Q for $5 off $25 purchase (from Rite Aid). My Publix honors this coupon. So, when I go tonight, and they total everything up- which order do I give them the Q's in?? This is all so confusing!!!Please help..

Default Re: which order do I present them in???

I hand the $/$$ over first. I actually put them in piles and hand them over one at a time. Competitors first (this almost always includes the $/$$ Q), then anything that requires a dollar amount to be entered, then Publix Q's, then MFC's. If I have a ton of MFC's I'll break them out to insert/printable/pink ones/ yellow ones. Anything to make the stacks smaller and more easily managed by them and my counting eyes.

Default Re: GDA at Publix - Free Crest Toothpaste & Free Oral B toothbrushes at Publix

I have a question about using the Publix Q, from the Simple Sale $1.00 off Crest and the $1.00 Crest Toothpaste that is in the PG 2-8-09. I went to Publix yesterday to do this deal (I was also buying some of the Bertolli pouches and tombstone pizzas) I was getting four with four Publix Q's and four P&G coupons but the cashier wouldn't take two of my Publix Q's, she said because I had more coupons than items I couldn't get last two coupons off. A line had formed behind me and I probably should have argued but I didn't. I thought you could use one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon per item. I was wondering if anyone could advise me if the cashier was right. So when I go back today or tomorrow I can get my Crest for free and will know what to do. I am just not understanding. Thanks!

Default Re: GDA at Publix - Free Crest Toothpaste & Free Oral B toothbrushes at Publix

You are allowed to use one Publix coupon plus one mfr coupon per item purchased. The problem is that the register is only set up to allow a 1 to 1 ratio on coupons vs items. If you didn't have enough extra items, the computer would give the cashier a message that the coupons exceed the number of items, and not allow any more coupons to go through. An override would be required by CS at that point. They should be willing to do this, but sometimes it is just easier to throw fillers in there to have your item count equal your coupon count. Next time, have the CS Manager or Store Manager called over.

Default Re: Newbie Questions for Publix Shoppers

Can I go back to the store and have them credit me for the other two coupons? I mean it made them $0.99 a piece which is not a bad deal. I don't even know if it is worth it. Ya know? Thanks.

It's entirely up to you, but for a couple of bucks I would probably just let it go, myself. If you want to, you could bring yur receipt and explain the situation and they would probably credit you for the coupons.

Default Re: Newbie Questions for Publix Shoppers

I would totally take your receipt to cs- they should give you the $2 in cash for your Qs. The Publix I shop at is great about that! You can hold your receipt and bring it in with you on your next trip. $2 isn't worth a special trip but, it is your money afterall. My Publix has a policy of giving the item(s) for free if they ring you up wrong (like in this case). (Publix- Woodlawn: Marietta, GA)

Of course it is her prerogative either way. There was no Publix Promise here though, the items didn't ring up incorrectly. They refused the Publix coupons.

Default Re: Newbie Questions for Publix Shoppers

Boy am I having a time with this Crest Toothpaste deal! I went back last night and tried to get 4 more I had the 4 Publix $1.00 off Q and then the 4 Manf $1.00 Q and the Asst Customer Service Manager had to be called over because the guy couldn't get the LU# on the Publix one to ring in. The Asst Customer Service Manager said that I couldn't use both because the Manf Q said that it was one per purchase. I even made sure I had my coupon to item ratio right, I had to pick up milk and eggs and such. So they wouldn't take any of the Publix Q's. Is this right?!? It is just frustrating I can't seem to get it right.
