My receipt reads:
Vendor Coupon -0.50
BONUS COUPON SUPPRESSED
Vendor Coupon -0.50
BONUS COUPON SUPPRESSED
So those coupons were not doubled. Does anyone have an idea what happened here?
Thank you! | From what I understand the Halls coupon says Do Not Double on it. The barcode does start with a 5 though.
However, I just did an Internet search on that wording and found a post at another site. The Customer Service rep said that it said Bonus Coupon Supressed b/c the coupon said Do Not Double. This post was from March 2008.
From reading the other site, it appears that a cashier can suppress the doubling if a coupon says Do Not Double on it. So, your cashier must have done that. The coupon automatically doubles though, so the next cashier may or may not suppress the doubling.
So, basically, you don't really have an arguement with customer service, b/c the coupon does say Do Not Double on it. The cashier technically was following the wording on the coupon. |
