When you get full value credited for a mfr coupon, somtimes the value of the coupon exceeds the price of the item purchased. This results in an overage, or credit toward your other purchases. Absorbing the overage would be making sure you had more items in your order above and beyond that amount.

I am glad I am not the only one! I wondered if it was just me. Coupons are made to be used, right ??

Default Newbie competitor q question

I need to buy some paper products. If I buy chinet plates or whatever and I have a chinet coupon for $$. Can I use my chinet and stack a Target Q that is $3 off $15 purchase. This is assuming they accept competitor q's. Is that legal. I know I could do it at Target but not sure about Publix.

Thanks!

IF your particular Publix accepts Target q's, then yes, this is acceptable! My Publix takes Target q's and I've used that $3/$15 numerous times for free paper products!!

Hi! I'm totally a newbie and haven't even started couponing... but I have a question about the SmartSource coupons. How do you use them and can you use them in any store? I know I might sound dumb to some people but I seriouly don't know anything about couponing yet. *LoL* I've seen alot of photos from others who shop with coupons and it makes me really want to get into this... specially because I'm trying to save up to buy my own home some day. So any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, and welcome. There are printable Smart Source coupons online that are manufacturer's coupons and can be used at any store that accepts printables. Publix does accept printables, they just won't accept printables for free items. In the store there are blinking machines that produce coupons that are mostly Smart Source coupons. These are also manufacturer's coupons and can be used anywhere. We call these coupons that come out of the machines "blinkies."
