| Re: Newbie Questions for Publix Shoppers I have a question it seems as if all the Publix coupons say may not be used in conjunction with any other coupon.
Is there a Publix coupon policy that says they will accept both Publix and a manu?

| Re: question about store coupons If the coupons have something like "LU #1234" on them, they are Publix coupons. Whether you can combine them with manufacturer's coupons or not will depend on your store.
Many stores interpret "may not be used in conjunction with any other coupon" to mean "may not be used in conjunction with any other Publix coupon". The "Publix" is implicit like when the manufacturer's coupons say "one coupon per purchase", you can still combine them with store coupons.
Occasionally in the Advantage Buy fliers, you'll see one of the coupons has that wording, but also has a big circle on it that says something like "see additional savings in Sunday's paper". That suggests that the coupons are still combinable with manufacturer's coupons. |

I'm thinking of getting some the napkins with the summertime savings booklet, but want to be prepared for beeps, if there are any. Does it beep? Are they supposed to adjust it down?

~Jessica | I'm not 100% sure what the register does, and I know that some cashiers don't give overage (when the coupon is for more than the item). However, at my store, the register does not beep, and thus far I have always received the overage. However, overage is a bonus (a really nice one!) and they are not required to give it to us. If the cashier doesn't want to give you overage, I believe that, yes, they are supposed to adjust it down. |

~Jessica | Publix registers don't beep for overage. So, unless the cashier notices, you'll get the overage. Make sure you have something to absorb the overage.
The registers do beep once you use $50 in coupons. And, they beep if you use more coupons (store & mfr) than you have items. |
